As most of you are aware, Wholly Yours Ministries partner with indigenous pastors and other indigenous leaders to help fulfill the great commission, sharing Christ with the nations. Part of that partnership is to help the pastors associated with our ministry to rise above poverty and be effective in the ministry in which they're called. Most struggle just to provide shelter and other basic needs for their families and many times they live in substandard housing and many needs go unmet. Many times, their children are sent home from school due to lack of paying the school fees. We currently help several pay their monthly rent, but our goal is for them to have their own homes. I'd like to introduce you to three pastors that need our help. Each of them owns the property that their homes will be built on and one is in progress already.
The first one (below) is Pastor David Mugabi, Pastor of Raah Christian Church in Kayunga Uganda. David is married and has one child. He currently has two churches underneath his ministry and one of those Wholly Yours Ministries helped plant. We also helped register his church with the Ugandan government. He is currently renting but his landlord is selling the house and he has until June to vacate the premises. Pastor David is Ministry Coordinator for Wholly Yours Ministries - Kayunga. Pastor David sold three pigs and his mom sold a cow and bought a piece of property for his home. We have been able to construct the house up to the floor level but need funds to finish it.

The second one (below) is Pastor Patrick Wangira, Pastor of Fpfk Springs of Grace in Mombasa Kenya. Pastor Partrick is married and has four children. Patrick has several churches underneath his ministry and is Ministry Coordinator - Evangelism and Missions for Wholly Yours Ministries. He is very instrumental in planting and setting up new churches both in Kenya and Uganda and he and Director Athanus Atimbo just completed a mission trip to Uganda, distributing bibles to those churches associated with us. Pastor Patrick owns land in Budalangi and desires to build a permanent home on it. He built a temporary structure already, but the wind and rain destroyed it. He has 700 bricks already that can be used to start the foundation.

The third one (below) is Pastor Kalvon Onyango, associate Pastor of Cathedral of Restoration church on Lolwe Island (locals call it Dolwe) in Lake Victoria, Uganda. Pastor Kalvon has three children, one of them just a few days old. Pastor Kalvon and his family live in a one room house made from mud and it is in very poor condition. He is making his own brick for his house and also has sand and some aggregate for the foundation.

We are still in the process of calculating final build costs for each, but Pastor Kalvon's will cost around $2500 to complete. He is in the process of making the brick and already has many materials for the foundation. The second phase of Pastor Mugabi's, which will bring it up to roof level is around $750. This will give you some idea of the costs to build the houses and are quite low compared to US building costs but are simply out of reach for most Kenyans and Ugandans.
Please help us complete these three pastors' homes. They are our brothers and sisters in Christ and an integral part of the Wholly Yours Ministries team. We don't want our team members struggling to survive, constantly worrying where their next meal will come from or where they will shelter their families. Whether you can afford to give a small amount or a large amount, each donation is very much appreciated and will be life changing to these three families. It will also help our ministry in the future by helping those that work directly with us on the front lines.
