Upcoming December 2025 Mission to Kenya and Uganda

It's that time again for our bi-annual mission trip to Kenya and Uganda, and we're really excited! We normally plan to go for two months; however, we were delayed in our planning due to the high probability that I had prostate cancer, and we were unsure of how long the treatment process would take. We are happy to let everyone know that what the MRI showed as 90% chance of cancer, turned out to be normal tissue where the cells were very dense. We serve a God of healing, Jehovah Rapha, and give Him praise for the great test results.

This trip, we'll be there from December 3rd through the December 29th. During that time, we have a lot of activities and events planned. We will do our normal medical and humanitarian outreaches (such as jigger removal, deworming, feeding programs, and reading glasses distribution), as well as teaching/preaching engagements, and bible distribution. We also are planning two open-air crusades, seminars and tent revivals. One will be in Kinawambuzi Uganda and one in Ogalo, (Mumias) Kenya. While in Uganda, we plan to visit one of our churches on Sagitu Island, Ukombizi CNB - Sagitu.

In addition to the above, we will be visiting our cocoa/banana and eventual sugarcane farms in Kinawambuzi Uganda, and dedicating the New Beginnings Vocational Technical Institute in Nankoma Uganda as well as the New Beginnings Housing Complex in Kenya.

I will be posting on social media throughout the duration of the trip and will be doing many FB lives, so everyone can come along on the journey. We cannot do this without each one of you, our faithful prayer partners and financial supporters, and we appreciate your sacrificial giving to make this possible.

You may be wondering, just how can I be involved? Well, first of all, you can pray for this mission. Pray for provision for all of our programs, pray for protection for our WYM teams, and pray for souls to be won into the kingdom through our efforts. As you know, it takes a lot of money to fund all the programs we do. Right now, we need money for bibles, our medical outreaches, our feeding program, our shoe distribution program, and people to donate reading glasses. We can take some reading glasses with us in our luggage, but bibles, shoes, food, and medical supplies need to be bought there.

The pictures of the building below show the progress being made on one of our sustainability projects, the New Beginnings Housing Complex. This is one unit containing five dorm rooms. When completed, there will be a total of four units and twenty dorm rooms. The plants shown are banana and cocoa plants and is a pilot planting. Cocoa plants must be planted with banana trees to supply them with the water they need until they become mature, which takes about three years. We are planting two and one-half acres of cocoa/banana trees and one acre of sugarcane, also part of our sustainability programs. Enjoy the photos!
