WYM weCONNECT launch - Africa

It is with great joy that I announce the launching of WYM weCONNECT - Africa, and the addition of another member to our Wholly Yours Ministries team, Faith Owino. Faith is now the Director of weCONNECT - Africa, so please join me in welcoming her on board. Faith is well qualified to lead weCONNECT and our "Love in Action" programs as she has recently graduated from college with a degree in social work and has been involved in several non-profit helps programs over the years as a volunteer. Faith loves helping people with their physical needs, but she loves helping them with their spiritual needs even more and supplies bibles to those that do not have one.

Faith will be working directly with Lynn Fullen, Vice President of Wholly Yours Ministires - North America and Director of weCONNECT - North America. She will also work closely with Pastor Athanus Atimbo, Vice President of Wholly Yours Ministries - Africa. Faith and Athanus are quite a team and do amazing work, reaching out to the local community sharing the love of Christ.

WYM weCONNECT - Africa is an extension of weCONNECT - North America, the umbrella for Endless Blessings Thrift Mart and Clothing Shop and weCONNECT - THE Community Outreach and Resource Center in Glade Spring Virgina. weCONNECT - Africa, under the direction of Faith, will work directly with the compassion ministries in our local churches to help church members and members of the local community with some of their direst needs, being Christ's hands and feet.

The photos below showcase some of what Faith does, and you can see the joy on her face as she provides food, bibles, medical help, and reading glasses to those most vulnerable in society, the aged, the widows, children and orphans. This is what the bible says is "true religion." James 1:27 (NASB) states, "True and undefiled religion in the sight of God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained from the world."
